Campus Cool!

Ok so college reopens pretty soon – and we all know what that means! What do I wear??? Sure, sure deny it all you want but the fact is you need to “dress to impress” on the first day back. I got the scoop – short, sweet and just for you, so take notes.

1. Layering. When the mercury soars, try thinner layers. E.g. a colourful tank top with a funky jacket or a camisole over a mid-length t-shirt. Guys, try teaming a ganji with a well-fitted shirt.

2. Linen pants and capris are totally in, as are harem and dhoti pants – basically anything that is loosely fitted works great during the heat/rains.

3. In terms of accessories, women – stock up on the chunky bracelets and guys, try the leather cuffs to up your “cool quotient”.

4. Leggings – buy in bulk. Superb for mixing and matching the other stuff in your closet. Additional plus point? Perfect for the new “dress codes” that are taking over campuses huh?

5. Finally - go colour-crazy with your footwear & brighten up the grey skies!
